Starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson as the titular role, the film follows the antihero who is unleashed onto modern times after 5,000 years of imprisonment. He’s discovered by the Justice Society of America, who attempt to show him how to use his powers for good rather than evil.
Since descending to the capital yesterday, The Rock along with Pierce Brosnan, Quintessa Swindell, Sarah Shahi, Noah Centeineo and Aldis Hodge, attended its grand UK Premiere the world-renowned Leicester Square.
Dwayne says, ‘This character, this film, this universe, has been a gigantic passion project of mine for a very long time. t’s the kind of project I know comes along once in a lifetime. The truth is, I was born to play Black Adam.’
Also in attendance at the Premiere were the likes of comedian Paul Chowdhry, Love Island reality star Nas Majeed, actors Ritu Arya, Elena Fernandes and Fady Elsayed to name a few.
Black Adam is in UK cinemas from 21st October 2022.
