The Colour Purple is one of the most anticipated musicals gearding to release in 2024 and the cast and crew arrived in London a few weeks back to kick off its promotional tour. The cast and director all posed against the London skyline, before heading to the Special Screening at London’s Vue West End.The cast Taraji P. Henson, Danielle Brooks, Fantasia Barrino, Scott Sanders, Corey Hawkins, andColman Domingo and director Blitz Bazawule were in attendance.The Color Purple, based on the classic novel by Alice Walker and the beloved Steven Spielberg movie, is a decades-spanning tale of one woman’s journey to independence. Celie faces many hardships in her life, but ultimately finds extraordinary strength and hope in the unbreakable bonds of sisterhood.The Color Purple is in cinemas from 26th January 2024.
