Heartwood is Eden’s Forest CIC’s creative woodland programme, offering gentle, nature‑based making and calm outdoor time for adults who want to pause, reset and reconnect. We would love to welcome you to our woods for this Creative Nature community session.
Guided by our Artist in Residence and experienced facilitators, participants explore low‑pressure creative activities using sustainable woodland materials — including cyanotype, simple greenwood work, willow weaving and other accessible nature‑based crafts. The focus is on slowing down, enjoying the woodland and taking part in creativity that feels grounding rather than demanding.
Our woodland site at Hey Wood, Honley includes sheltered making spaces, a hand‑built roundhouse, workbenches and a cosy campfire area. Sessions are fully catered, with a warm lunch, hot drinks and s’mores around the fire.
Heartwood is inclusive, sensory‑friendly and offered on a Pay As You Feel basis to ensure everyone in Kirklees can take part.
