A performance of classical Qawwali music and song, in a style dating back to the 13th century and inspired by Sufi traditions in the magical setting of the LBT courtyard.
Featuring a local Qawwali group, who take inspiration from Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Qawwali’s most famous performer, and folk music from Pakistan, with vocalists weaving melodies over percussion-based music, including harmoniums, tabla and dholak.
An intense and profoundly moving experience.
Note this is an open-air outdoor event, we recommend you dress appropriately for the weather.
