# Seasons of Culture: Guided Canal Walk – Explore, Discover, Collect & Create
**Saturday 31 October 2026 | 1:00pm | Free Event**
Join Radio Sangam and Communities Together for a free, guided autumn canal walk as part of our **Seasons of Culture** programme.
Celebrate the beauty of autumn, discover local wildlife and explore the changing colours of the natural world on a scenic four-mile walk along the canal from **Aspley to Cooper Bridge**.
## 🍂 Discover nature and get creative
As the leaves turn golden, red and orange, we invite you to slow down, explore your surroundings and appreciate the wildlife and natural beauty on our doorstep.
During the walk, we will:
- **Explore** – Look closely at autumn foliage, trees and plants along the canal.
- **Discover** – Observe local wildlife and learn more about the natural environment.
- **Collect** – Gather fallen leaves and other suitable natural materials.
- **Create** – Use our collected leaves to inspire and create a piece of artwork, celebrating the colours, textures and patterns of autumn.
This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, meet other local people, share experiences and connect with nature through creativity.
