Peter Murrell the former Scottish National Party (SNP) Chief was sentenced to 5 years and 3 months after he pled guilty to embezzling over £400,000 from his party.
The 61-year-old, also known as the estranged husband of former SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon, plot began to unravel once Police Scotland had received reports of the SNP’s finances in March 2021.
